Mutual trade volume between EAEU states passed 73 billion dollars – Russian PM

YEREVAN, OCTOBER 21, ARMENPRESS. The dynamics of the trade turnover between the Eurasian Economic Union’s member states reflects the positive effect of integration processes, Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin said during the extended-format meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council in Yerevan.

“Last year the volume of mutual trade between the Union’s countries has reached its maximum during the entire existence of our Union. It surpassed 73 billion dollars. This is almost 33% more than in 2020”, the Russian PM said.

Touching upon the food products and agricultural goods, the Russian PM said that here the growth is about 21%.

“The physical volume of mutual supplies has increased by 11%. The Russian Ruble remains the main currency in calculations and has been used for making 72% payments”, he said.
