Armenian President, Prime Minister of Bulgaria emphasize the need to establish stable peace in the region

YEREVAN, OCTOBER 18, ARMENPRESS. Today, on October 18, the President of the Republic of Armenia Vahagn Khachaturyan, who is in the Republic of Bulgaria on a state visit, met with the Prime Minister of Bulgaria Galab Donev.

As ARMENPRESS was informed from the Office of the President, Galab Donev noted that the Armenian and Bulgarian peoples have a long-standing friendship. He expressed satisfaction with that excellent relations have been formed between the two countries, there are great prospects for using the untapped potential in science, culture, healthcare and other fields.

President Vahagn Khachaturyan thanked the Bulgarian Prime Minister, noting that this visit will be a new stimulus for the development of relations between the two countries. The President also noted that the two countries have a lot in common, and also emphasized that this meeting is taking place in a symbolic year, as it is the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Armenia and Bulgaria.

The President of Armenia and the Prime Minister of Bulgaria emphasized the need to establish stable peace in the region, attaching importance to the decision to send an EU observation mission to Armenia.
