Made in Armenia a quality standard: PROFAL’s major projects abroad

YEREVAN, OCTOBER 17, ARMENPRESS. We have talked about the large projects implemented by PROFAL abroad with company’s international projects manager Hovhannes Aghajanyan, and chief engineer Asatur Aghakhanyan.

Russia: Patriot Park

“Our team was entrusted with a large-scale state program in Russia. PROFAL has carried out the glazing of the floor of the Road of Memory Museum which opened at Patriot military recreational park on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the World War II. We have started to implement the project in 2020 and completed it successfully within just 2 months. Like in other projects abroad, in this project as well the most difficult part was the transportation because in addition to pandemic-related border restrictions, each country also has its own criteria for the methods of transportation of raw materials. Nevertheless, we proposed the correctly selected construction and managed to implement the project by giving the fastest and simple solution in a very short period of time”, Asatur Aghakhanyan said.

The Road of Memory Museum’s gallery is 1418 meters long, under every glass of which the history of one day of the Great Patriotic War is depicted.

University of Puerto Rico

“This is one of the projects when we had concrete and strict requirements connected with the climate conditions of that country. We have provided the University of Puerto Rico with glass-enclosed constructions, which must have been storm resistant. The engineering designing was followed by delivery and transportation stages which have been at the direct participation of the team. We also had a very interesting experience while working in this country because the specialists of our team have actively worked with the masters there, trained and shared our experience and skills. Thanks to the wonderful implementation of the project, the constructions provided by PROFAL stayed safe during the recent storm.

Along with the University project, we were also implementing a seaside mansion project. It was the first experience when PROFAL was in a role of a supervisor during the installation process of constructions, in other words, our specialists were following the accurate process of assembly constructions. Having reliable and experienced partners was a priority in a country like Puerto Rico. In this respect PROFAL managed to present Armenia at best”, Hovhannes Aghajanyan said.

Saudi Arabia

“We have been implementing projects in Saudi Arabia since 2013. At first, an engineering visit took place, followed by production stage and then by installation process which again was carried out by our team. There, great importance is attached to the hermeticity of buildings with regards to the sand, and the local constructions that time were not meeting the required standards. PROFAL had a big test to do: it had to produce wind-resistant constructions. The task was carried out efficiently, and the ideal result served as a base for other projects. Several companies have started to be interested in us, tried to contact us and make new proposals for cooperation. Among them is the 68 private house major project, when the entire constructions of two or three-story buildings have again been re-measured, produced and sent to Saudi Arabia. At the initial stage of the cooperation, PROFAL was providing aluminum doors and windows, then the number of services has gradually expanded, including interior partitions, bathroom and kitchen furniture, pergolas, facade constructions and dormer windows”, Hovhannes Aghajanyan said.

“Currently, Armenia-Saudi Arabia-Italy talks are underway. It’s a private house project which again has very serious demands, such as out-of-format glasses, heavy sliding constructions which need to be opened with a panorama, assembled, re-assembled, give them angular bends, etc. This is a difficult task technically, that’s why the works are being held with their architectural team.

Another project that we implement in Saudi Arabia is currently at an assembly stage. Thanks to a coordinated work, which are being held at the direct participation of the coordinator, we are able to do right measurements and designing. As a result, there is no need to frequently visit Saudi Arabia, the works are being carried out fast and in an operational way”, Asatur Aghakhanyan said.

PROFAL has also carried out other projects in different scale in these countries. One more cooperation is also at a stage of implementation, this time in the Bermuda islands.
