US provides new $725 million military aid package to Ukraine 

YEREVAN, OCTOBER 15, ARMENPRESS. US President Joe Biden has ordered to allocate additional military aid of up to $725 million to Ukraine, TASS reports citing the statement of the White House.

The document said that Biden "delegated to the Secretary of State <...> to direct the drawdown of up to $725 million in defense articles and services of the Department of Defense, and military education and training, to provide assistance to Ukraine”.

This new package includes over 200 Humvees (HMMWVs), ammunition for HIMARS rocket systems, anti-tank weapons, artillery shells.

The Pentagon specified that Washington had committed to provide Kiev with a total of $18.2 billion worth of weapons since January 2021.
