Minister of Education holds meeting with Rector of V. Bryusov State University

YEREVAN, OCTOBER 14, ARMENPRESS. Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport Vahram Dumanyan received today Rector of the V. Bryusov State University Karine Harutyunyan, the ministry told Armenpress, adding that a constructive conversation took place.

The ministry also said that Deputy Minister Karen Trchunyan will participate in the extended-format session of the Academic Council of the University, as Minister Dumanyan cannot attend it because of a busy working schedule.

The session of the Academic Council of the University will be held today and will relate to the enlargement of universities, particularly the merger of the Bryusov University, the State Pedagogical University and the State Institute of Physical Culture and Sport.

Minister Dumanyan said yesterday that the government is circulating a decision on the merger of these three universities.
