Armenian President receives oncologist, academician Ivan Stilidi

YEREVAN, OCTOBER 10, ARMENPRESS. President of Armenia Vahagn Khachaturyan received on October 8 chief oncologist of the Russian Ministry of Health, academician Ivan Stilidi and his delegation, the Presidential Office said.

In his remarks President Khachaturyan highly valued the support of the Russian side to the programs aimed at upgrading and renovating the National Centerof Oncology named after V.A. Fanarjyan. He expressed hope that this cooperation, especially that with the Blokhin National Medical Research Center ofOncology, will continue.

The guests thanked the Armenian President for the welcome and stated that the Armenian-Russian joint projects in oncology development sphere have a tradition of years and will be continuous both in terms of exchange of experience and providing consultation.
