Our Lady of Fatima pilgrim statue to be brought to Armenia for the first time in history

GYUMRI, OCTOBER 7, ARMENPRESS. A Portuguese “Our Lady of Fatima Statue” will be brought to Armenia for the first time in history in October-November 2022.

It will be brought to the Armenian Catholic communities of both Armenia and Georgia, the Ordinariate of the Armenian Catholic Church told Armenpress, calling it an important event for the Catholic communities.

The reason for the special reverence of this statue is the story of apparitions of Our Lady near Fatima settlement in Portugal from May 13 to October 13, 1917. These apparitions have left a great trace in the history of the Catholic Church.
