YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 30, ARMENPRESS. Despite all trials, Armenia must begin substantial negotiations with Azerbaijan around a peace treaty, PM Nikol Pashinyan said.

“Even going through all these trials we still believe that substantial negotiations must begin with Azerbaijan over a peace treaty. We are not abandoning the agreements which were reached. And our foreign minister will travel to Geneva and will meet with the Azerbaijani foreign minister, where, as we said earlier, substantial negotiations must begin around developing the draft peace treaty,” Pashinyan said.

The Armenian and Azerbaijani foreign ministers are scheduled to meet in Geneva on October 2.
