Armenian Finance Minister, IMF delegation discuss issues of bilateral interest

YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 26, ARMENPRESS. Minister of Finance Tigran Khachatryan held a meeting today with the delegation led by IvaPetrova, Head of theInternational Monetary Fund(IMF) Mission inArmenia, the ministry said.

The meeting was also attended by the deputy finance ministers, IMF Armenia Resident Representative Mehdi Raissi and IMF mission economists.

Welcoming the guests, the Armenian minister introduced them on the latest economic developments, the current tax policy and administration, as well as talked about the course of the 2022 state budget performance.

Iva Petrova thanked for the welcome, highlighted the high partnering relations with the Ministry of Finance and reaffirmed her readiness to participate in all ongoing projects.

The sides discussed a broad range of issues of bilateral interest, touched upon the latest macro-economic developments, capital expenditures and tax policy-related issues.

A number of agreements were reached at the end of the meeting to continue the discussions of the ongoing projects in the future.
