German Chancellor tests positive for COVID-19

YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 26, ARMENPRESS. German Chancellor Olaf Scholz has tested positive for COVID-19and has been self-isolated, his spokesperson Steffen Hebestreit said in a statement, reports TASS.

The Chancellor cancelled his participation to all events scheduled this week. He is Berlin, the spokesperson added.

On September 25 Olaf Scholz returned from his trip to the Persian Gulf countries during which he visited Saudi Arabia, Qatar and the United Arab Emirates.
