Azeri forces advanced 1-1.5km in direction of Nerkin Hand and Shorzha, 0.5km in direction of Ishkhanasar - Edward Asryan

YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 16, ARMENPRESS. During the meeting with representatives of foreign embassies accredited in Armenia in Jermuk town, the Chief of General Staff of the Armenian Armed Forces Edward Asryan presented in which directions the Azerbaijani forces advanced into Armenia’s sovereign territory during the latest attack.

“The depth of infiltration of the adversary in the direction of Jermuk, as well as the front is 8-8.5km, the successes of the adversary’s units in other five directions cannot be compared with the depth of their infiltration in the direction of Jermuk. In the direction of Nerkin Hand and Shorzha, the adversary advanced 1-1.5km, and in the direction of Ishkhanasar – 0.5km. In other sections the adversary was pushed back”, he said.
