President Khachaturyan visits Jermuk in aftermath of Azeri attack

YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 15, ARMENPRESS. President Vahagn Khachaturyan visited the town of Jermuk to get acquainted with the situation after the Azerbaijani aggression.

The President met with Governor of Vayots Dzor Ararat Grigoryan, Acting Mayor of Jermuk Vahagn Arsenyan, MP Trdat Sargsyan – who’ve led the formation of volunteer defense detachments to protect the town.

“The Chief of the General Staff of the Armenian Armed Forces Edward Asryan and representatives of the army corps command briefed the president on the situation,” the presidency said.

President Khachaturyan toured the town and visited troops at military positions “who inflicted heavy damages to the adversary with their heroic actions.”
