TSAKHKADZOR, AUGUST 21, ARMENPRESS. Defense Minister of the Republic of Armenia, Seyran Ohanyan, attended the participants of “Union 2015: Heirs of Victory” military and sports gathering in Tsakhkadzor. “Armenpress” reports that Minister Ohanyan followed the performance of reconnaissance games prepared by the participants.

Later, during a conversation with the participants, Minister Ohanyan highlighted the importance of such events, adding that all the 500 participants are the bearers of their grandparents’ victory and that it is very important to transfer the achievements from generation to generation. “You do a very important and priceless job. The Defense Ministry follows the process of the military and sports gathering on daily basis. All are winners here, the first winner is Armenia that hosted the participants and opened its soul in front of them. If our generation does not transfer the achievements of his predecessors to the future generation, it means all was done in vein”, Ohanyan said.

“Union 2015: Heirs of Victory” military and sports gathering is dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the victory of the Great Patriotic War and aims to develop patriotism and friendship among the children.
