Armenian Parliament’s Vice Speaker-led delegation takes part in IPA CIS

YEREVAN, APRIL 19, ARMENPRESS: On April 16 the delegation led by the Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia Eduard Sharmazanov took part in the plenary session of the Inter-Parliamentary Assembly of Member Nations of the Commonwealth Independent States (IPA CIS) in Tavrichesky Palace of Saint Petersburg. The members of the RA NA Delegation to the IPA CIS Hayk Babukhanyan and Hovhannes Sahakyan were in the delegation. The Speaker of the RF FA Federal Council Valentina Matvienko presided over the session.

The press service of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia informed Armenpress that the member of the RA NA delegation to the IPA CIS Hovhannes Sahakyan was awarded the diploma of the IPA CIS Council.

After the end of the session the Armenian MPs took part in the event the “Memory Relay” campaign dedicated tothe 70thanniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War.
