YEREVAN, 9 MARCH, ARMENPRESS. Deputy Minister of Urban Development of the Republic of Armenia Armen Ghularyan met with representatives of the European Investment Bank to discuss projects aimed at raising the level of energy efficiency in buildings of Armenia. As the Department of Information and Public Relations of the Ministry of Urban Development of the Republic of Armenia reports to “Armenpress”, the representatives of the European Investment Bank expressed gratitude for the reception and mentioned that EIB has a goal to carry out certain projects for energy efficiency in Armenia. The head of the group mentioned that the EIB wants to discuss issues on continuation of those projects based on some precedents in energy efficiency.

Attaching importance to the issue, Deputy Minister of Urban Development of the Republic of Armenia Armen Ghulanyan mentioned that the issues on raising the level of energy efficiency in buildings of the Republic of Armenia have been in the focus of the government for quite a while and added that there are different international organizations in Armenia that collaborate with the Ministry of Urban Development.
