Karabakh Defense Army suspends subversive penetration attempt

YEREVAN, DECEMBER 25, ARMENPRESS: The Azerbaijani Armed Forces initiated a subversive penetration attempt at 01:30 at night on December 25 in two directions of the southeast sector of the Defense Army of the Nagorno Karabakh Republic. The Press Service of the Artsakh Ministry of Defense informed Armenpress that during the subversive action the enemy used different types of attacking weapons, including hand grenades.

The frontier subdepartments of the Defense Army suspended the penetration attempt of the rival’s special forces, causing them losses and making to retreat to their positions. Confronting the rival, the Defense Army suffered no losses.

The details of the incident are being investigated.
