Armenian version of trailer for Turkish director’s film available online

YEREVAN, 26 NOVEMBER, ARMENPRESS. The Armenian version of the trailer for German director of Turkish descent Fatih Akin’s film The Cut, which is devoted to the Armenian Genocide, is already available online. According to “ArmenPress”, the 138-minute English-language film has already been fully translated into French and Western Armenian and will be shown at movie theaters in Turkey starting December 5th.

The creators of the film are the director and Martik Martin. The film is about a survivor of the Armenian Genocide by the name of Nazareth Manukyan who, after many years, suddenly finds out that his twin daughters might have survived the Genocide and starts looking for them. Manukyan’s role is played by Algerian actor Tahar Rahim. The film also stars Arsineh Khanjian, Simon Abgaryan, Akin Ghazi and others.
