YEREVAN, OCTOBER 22, ARMENPRESS: Armenia continues to remain a strong partner of the EU's Eastern Partnership programme. As Armenpress reports, French Ambassador to Armenia Henry Reynaud said this at a press conference on October 22.

“Also after affiliation to EEU, Armenia has stressed its deep tie and readiness to continue the cooperation with the European Union. Armenia’s wish to continue the cooperation with EU was reflected in the statement of the last year’s Vilnius summit, which distinctly pointed out the fields of Armenia-EU further cooperation,” said the Ambassador.

As for France’s standpoint on this issue, President Hollande has clearly stated that Armenia should be afforded the opportunity of signing the association agreement.

French Ambassador to Armenia Henry Reynaud is wrapping up his diplomatic mission in Armenia. He has been in that office since 2010 October 25.
