Italy sees no alternative to peaceful solution of Karabakh conflict

YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 16, ARMENPRESS. The Minsk group is the main instrument that the International Community has to help to solve the Nagorno Karabakh conflict. As reports ''Armenpress'', the Ambassador of Italy in Baku Giampaolo Cutillo stated about this in his recent interview to the Azerbaijani Trend Agency.

Amogn other things, the Italian diplomat underscored: ''Of course we stand by the group of Minsk, we support the triple chairs, Russia, the U.S. and France in their reports, in their work, which requires of course long term commitment. We believe that this issue can only be dealt with through peaceful means to a negotiated solution of course because from that point of view the status quo is something which is not acceptable. ''
