YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 3, ARMENPRESS. The International Atomic Energy Agency and the donor states held a technical conference in Armenia’s Nuclear Power Plant, dedicated to the issues of safe exploitation of Armenia’s Nuclear Power Plant. Issues referring to International aid coordination provided to Armenia’s NPP were discussed during the conference, which is being held for already the 6th time.

The Minister of Energy and Natural Recourses of the Republic of Armenia Yervand Zakharyan in his opening remark mentioned that Armenia attaches high importance to the selected format for increasing the level of safety of energy block under the coordination of  International Atomic Energy Agency. As “Armenpress” reports the Minister said: “All the participating countries as USA, Russian Federation, European Union, the Czech Republic and Slovakia have a significant contribution to keeping the Energy block in a good technical condition.”
