Stepanakert announces that there will be no return to former borders

YEREVAN, MAY 8, ARMENPRESS. Regardless of the statements and viewpoints or points introduced on the peace agreement, the official standpoint of the Artsakh Republic on the regulation of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict cannot be changed. In a conversation with “Armenpress”, Davit Babayan, the Press Spokesman of the President of the Nagorno Karabakh Republic, stated that there is only one standpoint in Stepanakert – there will be no return to the former borders.

Among other things Davit Babayan underscored: “We are guided by the Constitution of the Nagorno Karabakh Republic, which highlights that there are no liberated or any other territories. There is only one territory – the Artsakh Republic.” In addition, the Press Spokesman of the President of the Nagorno Karabakh Republic underscored that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Nagorno Karabakh Republic will issue a statement and will give a comprehensive assessment to the 6 points of the Peace Agreement introduced by the U.S. Co-Chair of the OSCE Minsk Group James Warlick.
