YEREVAN, APRIL 28, ARMENPRESS. The Armenian-France economic relations are on a high level and the fact that France is the number one Western investor in Armenia certifies about this. “Armenpress” News Agency introduces an exclusive interview with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of France to the Republic of Armenia Henry Reynaud.

- The Armenian-French high level meetings have been strongly increased recently. It is considered that the French President will pay a visit to Armenia this year. Do You possess any information regarding the time and main goals of the visit?

- The President of the Republic will pay a visit to Armenia very soon. It will witness for the quality of the French-Armenian relations. The main goal of the visit is the reestablishment of the ties uniting the two countries and giving new impetus to the cooperation.

- The 100th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide will be marked next year. Armenia and the Armenian people are grateful to France for supporting the Armenian Genocide survivors and officially recognizing the Armenian Genocide. The French President François Hollande has announced for a number of times that France will adopt the bill criminalizing Armenian Genocide denial. To what extent are the French people and the French Government ready to make such a decision and can official Paris introduce time table in this regard?

- The French Parliament adopted the bill criminalizing Armenian Genocide denial in 2012, which was later declared invalid by the Constitutional Council. The President of the Republic expressed his determination to introduce a new bill to the parliament, which will consider the decision of the Constitutional Council.
