Armenia can export energy to Turkey: Deputy Minister

YEREVAN, FEBRUARY 26, ARMENPRESS: The Republic of Armenia can export 1 billion kilowatt/hour of electricity annually to Turkey. The Deputy Minister of Energy and Natural Resources of the Republic of Armenia Iosif Isayan stated about it at the press conference on February 26.According to him, Armenia can produce 10 billion kilowatt/hour electricity annually. “We can provide for the export to Turkey annually about 1 billion kilowatt/hour of electricity”, - said Isayan, Armenpress reports.

“We mostly use cheap electricity, produced mainly through water”, - Said Iosif Isayan, adding that the current powers, producing energy, work under loaded.
