China supports peaceful settlement of Karabakh conflict: Communist Party member

YEREVAN, 15 FEBRUARY, ARMENPRESS: The People's Republic of China supports the peaceful settlement of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict and hopes to deepen the economic ties with Armenia. The Deputy Head of the International Department of the Communist Party of the People's Republic of China Zhou Li stated about it at the press conference on February 15. “We are happy to visit Armenia. The program of our visit is quite rich, directed to the strengthening of the intergovernmental and interstate relations. We are grateful to Armenia for the assistance provided in the regional issues. China respects the ways of the development Armenia have chosen. We support the peaceful settlement of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict”, - said Zhou Li, Armenpress reports.

He expressed hope that the strengthening of the Armenian-Chinese relations will continue in the future as well and the economic ties between the two countries will deepen more. The Deputy Head of the International Department of the Communist Party of the People's Republic of China considers Armenia to be quite a hospital country. “We are impressed by your country and the nation. People here smile and are careless”, - said Zhou Li.
