ANCA demands USA to eliminate military aid to Azerbaijan in 2015

YEREVAN, JANUARY 29, ARMENPRESS. “Azerbaijan's most recent unprovoked killing, just a few hours ago, of yet another Armenian –Karen Galstyan, along the Nagorno Karabakh border underscores the urgent need for our Congress to suspend U.S. military aid until Baku cease its attacks, fully renounces violence, and commits to the peaceful resolution of regional conflicts,” “Armenpress” reports that this is stated in Facebook note of Armenian National Committee ofAmerica.

An appeal is made to the American-Armenians to call Members of the U.S. House and Senate panels responsible for writing the Fiscal Year 2015 bill to ask them to eliminate American aid to the Azerbaijani military.

On January 28 soldier Karen G. Galstyan (born in 1994) was killed by an Azerbaijani sniper in the military position of the Defense Army of the Nagorno Karabakh Republic located in the Northern direction. Karen G. Galstyan died from a lethal gunshot wound he received in the area of his head. An investigation has been launched to reveal the details of the incident.
