Azerbaijani displays inappropriate conduct towards Armenian in Moscow

YEREVAN, DECEMBER 16, ARMENPRESS: A young Azerbaijani demonstrated intolerance and hatred towards an Armenian playing the Armenian national music instrument duduk in Moscow. During the 9th annual inter-national event held recently at the Moscow Hall Club the representative of the organization managed by the daughter of the Azerbaijani president Ilham Aliyev, Leila Aliyeva, incited a provocation, throwing an open bottle of water and saying profanities to the Armenian duduk player, performing on the stage.
The press service of the Russian Coordination Council of Armenian Organizations told Armenpress: “The platform seemed to be free from political intrigues and clearing of inter-national relations. But, during the event an unpleasant incident occurred connected with the inappropriate conduct. Inviting the Armenian musician to the stage, indecent cries were heard from the hall against the performer. When the Armenian came out on the stage, an open plastic bottle of water was thrown to him. Many of the guests, getting wet, were outraged with the unpleasant fact”, - said the press service.
According to the Russian Coordination Council of Armenian Organizations, in the conversation with the intolerant Azerbaijani, it was found out that he was displeased that the Armenian musicians reserve the right to use duduk as their national music instrument. Though the press service of the Council reminded that UNESCO has already included duduk into its world cultural heritage list as an ancient Armenian music instrument.
