Armenia's PM receives first tablet made in Armenia

YEREVAN, DECEMBER 6, ARMENPRESS. The Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Tigran Sargsyan presided over the session of the Industrial Council by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia held on December 6. The Information and Public Relations Department of the Government of the Republic of Armenia informed “Armenpress” that the session launched with the presentation of the first tablet (Armtab) and first telephone (Armphone) of Armenian production. Before the discussion of the issues involved in the session’s agenda, Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan stated that the Armenia-based Armenian-American company “Technology and Science Dynamics Inc․/Armtab Technologies” initiated the production of tablets in Armenia.

The software and hardware design of the tablets is carried out in Armenia. The tablets are assembled in the United States and Hong Kong. It is considered to start the mass production and sale of the Armenian tablets on January-February 2014. 25-50 top Armenian experts of the realm will be engaged in the production.

The Chairman of the Company Vahan Shakaryan presented the first tablet of Armenian production to the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia and stated that he is hopeful that it will be useful for Tigran Sargsyan in his daily activities.
