Armenian businessmen succeed in Iraq

YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 7, ARMENPRESS: Armenian businessmen opened the first companies in Iraq. It is a great achievement in the framework of the development of the Armenian-Iraqi commercial and economic relations. At the joint Armenian-Iraqi forum the Deputy Minister of Economy of the Republic of Armenia Tigran Harutyunyan stated about it. “The Armenian businessmen act quite flexibly and now we can already register their first successes. Many have found ways in Iraq to expand their businesses. I think this forum as well will help to establish new business contacts”, - said the Deputy Minister.
Armenpress reports that Tigran Harutyunyan noted that in comparison with the previous year there has been a quite positive progress in the trade turnover.
Earlier Armenpress reported that for the development of the Armenian-Iraqi commercial and economic relations it is important to form a transport communication between the two countries and implement the Yerevan-Baghdad direct flights. At the joint Armenian-Iraqi forum the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Armen Gevorgyan stated that the commercial and economic relations between Armenia and Iraq during the recent years have been impressive.“We greatly value the development of the commercial and economic relations with Iraq and the creation of favorable business conditions for the nations of the two countries”, - said Armen Gevorgyan.
