YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 30, ARMENPRESS: We should our best in order on Armenia people believe in justice. With such statement in National Assembly performed candidate for the office of General Prosecutor of the Republic of Armenia Gevorg Kostanyan responding to the question of deputy from “Heritage” party Tevan Poghosyan. “I will apply measures in order the society is able to estimate the objectivity of each decision,” said Kostanyan, reports “Armenpress”.

He mentioned that sometimes decisions are reasonable but the public perception of the decision is displayed differently. He promised that he will often give press conferences in order there are not left unreasonable arguments for he society.  

National Assembly of Armenia discusses the issue of appointing Gevorg Kostanyan in the post of General Prosecutor of the country. The term of office of former General Prosecutor inspired on September 13. The General Prosecutor is appointed by National Assembly with a term of six years. The same person can not be appointed in that office for more than two times incessantly.
