Arthur Baghdasaryan to attend conference on fight against illicit drug trafficking in Lisbon

YEREVAN, MAY 21, ARMENPRESS: The Secretary of the National Security Council of the Republic of Armenia and the Chairman of the Intergovernmental Commission for Fighting against Drug Addiction and Illegal Drug Turnover in Armenia Arthur Baghdasaryan will visit Lisbon on May 21-23 by the invitation of the Head of the European Monitoring Centre for Drugs and Drug Addiction (EMCDDA) Wolfgang Götz.

As Armenpress was reported by the Press Service of the National Security Council of the Republic of Armenia, Arthur Baghdasaryan will participate in the international conference REITOX Week dedicated to the Fight against Drug Addiction and Illegal Drug Turnover, to be attended by the representatives from 42 countries.

Issues related to the Armenia’s integration in the European network for REITOX drugs and drug addiction, establishment of a rehabilitation center for drug addicts in Armenia, as well as the signing of a Memorandum of Cooperation between the National Security Council of the Republic of Armenia and the European Monitoring Centre for Drugs and Drug Addiction will be discussed at the meeting with the Head of the European Monitoring Centre for Drugs and Drug Addiction Wolfgang Götz.

The Secretary of the National Security Council of the Republic of Armenia and the Chairman of the Intergovernmental Commission for Fighting against Drug Addiction and Illegal Drug Turnover in Armenia Arthur Baghdasaryan is intended to have other official meetings of bilateral and international format.
