Armenia registers 8.3 percent economic activity during eight months

YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 2 , ARMENPRESS: The economic activity during current year January-August grew by 8, 3 percent as compared with the same period of the previous year. As National Statistics Service of the Republic of Armenia told Armenpress, the economic activity during 2012 August has increased by 8 percent in comparison with the previous year. There is a growth in industrial production as well , making overall 13, 2 percent. 2012 was productive for the agriculture production as well. During August the growth in the sector made 12, 3 percent.Yet the agricultural production lacks favorable growth. The sphere failed to restore after international economic crisis registered 2008.Trade turnover in August grew by 1, 6 percent. Consumer price index increased by 2.5 percent. There is an increase in electricity production, 7. 1 percent within eight months.In accordance with National Statistics Service data the average salary increased as drew parralel with the same period of the previous year, in state sector the growth is substantial 7. 5 percent and 6 percent in private sector.
