Azerbaijani pardon should be condemned by the international community: Sharmazanov

YEREVAN, AUGUST 31, ARMENPRESS: Armenian National Assembly Vice Chairman, RPA Speaker Edward Sharmazanov dwelled on Hungarian authorities step of extradition of assassinate, criminal Ramil Safarov to Azerbaijani.
" Criminal Ramil Safarov extradiction by Hungarian authorities generates at least bewilderment and anger cause it is obvious what is going to happen then with him . What refers to Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev pardon, the step once again comes to prove Azerbaijan by state level realizes and encourages anti Armenian and fascism policy. I guess the international community might come forth with condemnation statements" Edward Sharmazanov told Armenpress.
On February 19 of 2004 in Budapest Azerbaijani officer Ramil Safarov slayed with an ax Armenian officer Gurgen Margaryan when the latter was sleeping. The two officers were taking part in English language courses in framework of NATO program in Budapest. Hungarian court sentenced Ramil Safarov to life imprisonment, without a right to be pardoned during the first 30 years in jail.
