Serzh Sargsyan awarded "Best Sport Family 2012" winners

YEREVAN, JULY 14, ARMENPRESS: "Best Sport Family 2012" contest final stage kicked off on July 14 in Tsaghkadzor.

As Armenpress reports "Best Sport Family 2012" was held in three age groups, which comprise families with 6-8, 9-11, 12-14 old year children.

President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan noted "Best Sport Family 2012" is becoming more and more popular: if during the previous years several dozen families partook in the event, currently thousands of families are engaged in the process.

‘’ Our aim is that 100 thousands families get involved in sports. This competition promotes family solidarity, which in its turn helps to overcome the difficulties of life’’ Sargsyan noted. In his words competition is also developing a healthy society.

The families were awarded in three age groups in the frame of ‘’ Best Sport Family 2012" competition .

For the first nomination the award was 500 thousand , second place -400 and the third place -300 thousnad AMD.

108 families were awarded by sport unifirms and souviners from the President.

"Best Sport Family 2012" budget makes 69 million AMD.The competition was launched in 6 sport types.

The competition is held among the families from various provinces and NKR, which stipulates 3 participants: father, mother and child, regardless of sex.

"Best Sport Family’’ competition is being held for the 9 th time.
