President of Armenia receives EP delegation

YEREVAN, FEBRUARY 22, ARMENPRESS: President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan received today the delegation of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the European Parliament headed by member of European parliament Andrey Kovachev, President's press office reported.

Serzh Sargsyan welcomed the visit of the delegation to our country, taking into consideration the mission of the members of the Committee of contributing to the preparation of the report on Armenia and the region.

The President said such visits and contacts give good opportunity to familiarize with the situation on site and form an objective opinion.

The parties discussed the process of negotiations on the Armenia-EU Association Agreement and referred to the preparation of the report on Armenia and the region.
