CSTO Secretary General to visit Armenia in March

YEREVAN, FEBRUARY 21, ARMENPRESS: The Secretary General of the CSTO Nikolay Bordyuzha will visit Armenia in midst of March. At a space bridge today, Bordyuzha stated that he is coming to Yerevan to discuss the issue on implementation of arrangements reached earlier between the presidents of Armenia and Russia.
"We have created CSTO development conception, strategy of collective security and system of military programming. We are going to discuss these documents with Armenian experts and political analysts," he said. According to him, the opinions and observations will be taken into consideration in the further work of the CSTO.
"During his visit to Yerevan President Dmitry Medvedev signed a memorandum on joint military-technical activity and creation of joint military enterprises," Bordyuzha stressed, adding that during the visit the works carried out in the sidelines of the memorandum will be discussed.
"We have a pilot program over creation of joint ventures in the military-economic sphere," the CSTO secretary general said. He also informed that currently four programs on supply services in the military-industrial sphere are agreed. Within the framework of the programs four ventures will be created which will supply Armenian armed forces.
