YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 5, ARMENPRESS. A conscripted serviceman of the Armenian Armed Forces has died after sustaining a gunshot wound in unknown circumstances.

The Investigations Committee said in a news release that Private Erik Harutyunyan was found with a gunshot wound Monday evening in the weapons depot of a military base. He died while being transported to a hospital.

The Military Investigations Department suspects the incident to be an incited suicide as it launched a criminal investigation on Article 110 of the Criminal Code (Inciting Suicide).
