YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 28, ARMENPRESS. Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan sent a congratulatory message to National Hero of Armenia, member of Russia's State Duma Nikolai Ryzhkov on the occasion of the 90th birth anniversary.

I heartily congratulate you on the 90th birthday anniversary.

With your creative work and devotion you earned popular respect and fame in fraternal Russia. Your rich experience as a responsible, prudent state figure, professionalism and broad knowledge have always served for the benefit of the people of Russia.

In Armenia your are known and loved not only as a prominent state figure, but as a real friend of the Armenian people, who provided us invaluable support following the devastating earthquake of Spitak.

And it's not by accident that for your personal great contribution to the organization of the works and providing the Armenian people with immense moral support during the hard period you deserved the highest title of the National Hero of Armenia.

For decades your activities have been aimed at developing and deepening the Armenian-Russian allied relations, one of the important platforms for which is inter-parliamentary diplomacy and it’s difficult to exaggerate you personal role in its development and deepening.

You are always and expected guest in Armenia.

Honorable Nikolai Ivanovich, I wish you and al you relatives and friends good health, endless vigor, new achievements and all the best''.
