Armenian government, Draper University sign MoU

YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 24, ARMENPRESS. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan continues his working visit in the United States, the PM’s Office told Armenpress.

After completing his working visit in Los Angeles, the Armenian PM departed for San Jose, the Silicon Valley to meet with the representatives of high technological companies and discuss the cooperation prospects.

The PM’s visit to the Silicon Valley launched with the meeting with the venture capitalists: the Armenian PM had a luncheon with the founders of Draper University – Tim and Bill Draper during which they discussed the cooperation development prospects in the technology field. During the meeting a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between Armenia’s ministry of high technological industry and the Draper University. Within the frames of the MoU the sides agreed to cooperate, implement joint programs to prepare and train qualified specialists in the technology sector.

The next visit of the PM was to the NVidia computer game company headquartered in the Silicon Valley. Company CEO Jensen Huang welcomed PM Pashinyan and his wife, introduced them on the company’s activity directions, projects, etc.

The PM also had a brief meeting with the NVidia CEO during which they discussed the mutual partnership opportunities.
