YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 23, ARMENPRESS. President of Armenia Armen Sarkissian hosted a group of representatives of the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, the Presidential Office told Armenpress.

The guests introduced the purpose of their visit and the projects to be implemented with their Armenian partners. In particular, they touched upon the exchange program of students and lecturers between the Komitas State Conservatory of Yerevan and the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, which is being implemented for the first time. It was stated that within the frames of the project the Armenian students will have a chance to study at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland with a long-term study program. And the Armenian and Scottish teachers will be able to share experience and acquire new skills via mutual visits.

President Sarkissian welcomed the implementation of this project and expressed readiness to assist the initiatives aimed at deepening the cultural cooperation.
