‘Independence is an absolute value for us’, says Armenian Speaker of Parliament
10:46, 21 September 2019YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 21, ARMENPRESS. Speaker of Parliament of Armenia Ararat Mirzoyan today visited the Yerablur military pantheon on the 28th anniversary of Armenia’s Independence.
The Speaker told reporters at the pantheon that independence is an absolute value.
“Armenia’s independence is an absolute value which we gained at the cost of numerous sacrifices and we do not have a right to lose it again”, the Speaker said.
He informed that he is going to visit Gyumri today to take part in the Independence Day celebrations.
Today, the Third Republic of Armenia is celebrating its 28th anniversary of Independence.
This year the main celebrations are taking place in Gyumri, the second largest city of Armenia.
