Armenia’s Chief Commissioner for Diaspora Affairs departs for Cyprus on working visit

YEREVAN, AUGUST 26, ARMENPRESS. Armenia’s Chief Commissioner for Diaspora Affairs Zareh Sinanyan departed for Cyprus at the invitation of Presidential Commissioner for Humanitarian Issues and Overseas Cypriots, Fotis Fotiou, Sinanyan’s Office told Armenpress.

Zareh Sinanyan will take part in the World Conference of Overseas Cypriots in Nicosia.

Sinanyan will meet with the top leadership of the country, including President Nicos Anastasiades. He is also scheduled to meet with the Armenian community representatives.

During the visit the Chief Commissioner for Diaspora Affairs will participate in Armenia-Cyprus bilateral and Armenia-Cyprus-Greece trilateral meetings. A visit to the Melkonyan educational facility is also expected.
