YEREVAN, FEBRUARY 25, ARMENPRESS. Armenian Ambassador to Iraq Hrachya Poladyan on February 24 met with minister of electricity, Dr. Loay Al-Khatteeb, the Armenian foreign ministry told Armenpress.

At the meeting the sides discussed a number of issues of bilateral interest in the energy sector, in particular, the Armenian side outlined the opportunities to develop the cooperation in the fields of energy supply from Armenia to Iraq and use of alternative energy sources.

The officials reached an agreement over the participation in international exhibitions in the aforementioned sector.

The Iraqi minister expressed the readiness of the Iraqi side to deepen and develop the bilateral cooperation.
