YEREVAN, FEBRUARY 18, ARMENPRESS. Consul General of Armenia to Los Angeles Armen Baibourtian has attended the February 15 plenary session of the California State Senate, where Senator Scott Wilk formally introduced Baibourtian to the lawmakers.

Senator Wilk presented the relations between California and Armenia, the broad circle of friendly ties and prospects for developing partnership.

California State Senators expressed readiness to deepen practical steps and contacts for enhancing the ties between California and Armenia, the foreign ministry said.

Baibourtian was appointed Consul General in September 2018.
