Healthcare minister raises wage of polyclinic medics
13:11, 2 February 2019YEREVAN, FEBRUARY 2, ARMENPRESS. Minister of Healthcare Arsen Torosyan has signed an order on raising the salaries of medical personnel at outpatient polyclinics.
The wages will be raised 15-20% and the order is effectively from January 1.
“This is already the second raise in 6 months,” the minister said on Facebook, adding that the salaries of nearly 10,000 medics are increasing by a total of 30-40% as a result.
He said that the move is expected to develop preventive medicine, as well as involve professionals to the primary health care sector.
