Swearing-in ceremony of Cabinet members kicks off in Presidential Palace

YEREVAN, JANUARY 30, ARMENPRESS. The members of the Cabinet of Armenia will take an oath to properly fulfill their duties for the second time in the history of Armenia, reports Armenpress.

The swearing-in ceremony of the Cabinet members has kicked off in the Presidential Palace.

The Cabinet members will read the following text of the oath: “For the sake of the implementation of national goals and the strengthening of the Motherland, I swear to properly fulfill my obligations to the people, preserve the Constitution and the laws of the Republic of Armenia, foster the protection of sovereignty and interests of the Republic of Armenia, remain committed to the high rank of a Cabinet member”.

On January 14, according to the Presidential decree, Nikol Pashinyan has been re-appointed Prime Minister of Armenia.

On January 19 the President signed decrees on re-appointing several ministers.

According to the Presidential decrees, Zohrab Mnatsakanyan has been re-appointed foreign minister, Davit Tonoyan – defense minister, Arayik Harutyunyan – education and science minister, Suren Papikyan – minister of territorial administration and development, Erik Grigoryan – minister of nature protection, Felix Tsolakyan – minister of emergency situations, Hakob Arshakyan – minister of transport, communication and information technologies, Tigran Khachatryan – minister of economic development and investments, Atom Janjughazyan – minister of finance, Arsen Torosyan – minister of healthcare, Artak Zeynalyan – minister of justice. Zaruhi Batoyan has been appointed minister of Labor and social affairs.
