FM Nalbandian meets with representatives of Armenian organizations in Greece

YEREVAN, DECEMBER 13, ARMENPRESS. While on an official visit in Athens, Armenian foreign minister Edward Nalbandian on December 12 had a meeting with nearly four dozen representatives of Armenian organizations of Greece, the foreign ministry told Armenpress.

At the meeting FM Nalbandian presented the goals and agenda of his visit to Athens, the steps aimed at further strengthening and developing the Armenian-Greek relations.

The minister thoroughly presented the efforts of Armenia and the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chair countries aimed at peacefully settling the Karabakh conflict, as well as the recent developments over the conflict settlement process.

FM Nalbandian informed the Armenian community representatives about the prospects of cooperation envisaged by the Armenia-EU Comprehensive and Enhanced Partnership Agreement, introduced them on Armenia’s approaches over international and regional urgent issues, as well as the country’s foreign policy priorities.

The minister also touched upon the results of the OSCE Ministerial Council held in Vienna, Armenia’s upcoming presidency in the Organization of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation (BSEC), and the upcoming Francophonie Summit in Yerevan.

Thereafter, the FM answered to questions of the meeting participants.
