The CSTO summit that took place recently in Minsk showed that Armenia should deepen its involvement in the organization, Vice President of the National Assembly of Armenia Eduard Sharmazanov announced, stressing that the CSTO has no military-political alternative. “The statement adopted by the CSTO referring to Nagorno Karabakh conflicts settlement is of crucial importance. It expressed clear support to the efforts of the Minsk Group Co-chairs and called on the implementation of the Vienna and St. Petersburg agreements. This is the diplomatic success of official Yerevan and particularly President Sargsyan”, ARMENPRESS reports Sharmazanov saying.

He added that security issues remain priority for Armenia, and the military exercises in Artsakh showed that diplomatic success is reinforced by combat ready army and unbreakable spirit.
