OSCE conducts monitoring on Armenia-Azerbaijan border

YEREVAN, JUNE 9, ARMENPRESS. The Office of the Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office conducted a monitoring of the Armenian-Azerbaijan border in Armenia’s Tavush province on June 7, the Defense Ministry of Armenia told Armenpress.

From the Armenian side the monitoring was conducted by Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office, Ambassador Andrzej Kasprzyk and his field assistants Gennady Petrica and Martin Schuster.

No ceasefire violations were registered during the monitoring.

During a briefing in Aygepar community following the monitoring the OSCE officials were briefed on the current situation in the Armenian-Azerbaijani state border, the statistics on Azerbaijani ceasefire violations, by drawing their attention on the fact that the Azerbaijani forces regularly fire shots towards the bordering villages and roads.

The OSCE officials thanked the Armenian side for the presented data, stating that these will be included in their reports.
