YEREVAN, MAY 27, ARMENPRESS. On the sidelines of ‘Clean Armenia’ program’s nationwide community work day, the coordination works of the countrywide cleanup day began in the ministry of territorial administration and development at 09:00, led by Vache Terteryan, deputy minister of territorial administration and development, chairman of the Clean Armenia action plan’s inter-agency commission.

Preparations were carried out across the country to ensure the effective work of the cleanup day, resources of state bodies, private companies, as well as those willing to assist the program have been mobilized.

Acting minister of territorial administration and development Davit Lokyan visited Gegharkunik province, while his deputy Vache Terteryan visited Lori, Tavush and Vayots Dzor.

Lokyan has also been in Lusarat community of Ararat province, as well as the Khor Virap architectural monument.

The minister is due to visit other communities as well.

Officials of the ministry are also participating in the nationwide clean-up day.
