Azerbaijani forces advance 10 tanks in Talish direction, return to initial positions afterwards

STEPANAKERT, MAY 11, ARMENPRESS. Azerbaijani forces made more than 65 ceasefire violations in the past 24 hours in the Artsakh-Azerbaijan line of contact, firing around 1700 shots from various caliber firearms at Artsakh’s troops.

Azerbaijani forces also fired 82mm mortars (4 shells) and D-44 cannons (8 shells) in the direction of Martakert.

The defense ministry of Artsakh told ARMENPRESS in addition to the ceasefire violations, at 13:30, May 10, Azerbaijan advanced military hardware (over 10 tanks) in the direction of Tap Qaraqoyunlu-Talish. At 14:55 the tanks returned to their initial positions.

The Artsakhi Defense Army took countermeasures to suppress the Azerbaijani aggression.

Currently the situation on the frontline is calm.
